Join Us

We love to welcome new members to the Guild. Our friendly and supportive Guild members like to carry on the tradition of sharing their skills and experience and encouraging others to take up these fascinating textile crafts.  

 

The Guild has a resource centre with a good range of looms, spinning wheels and other equipment. These are available to members for loan and use at the centre and at home. This enables members to try things out before making an expensive purchase. We also have an extensive library of books and magazines that members are welcome to borrow. In addition to help and support from other Guild members we also run courses and organise events and visits.

We meet every Thursday between 10.00am and 3.00pm at our base at Llangynidr Village Hall. The hall has plenty of space and easy access (no steps), with parking directly outside or close by across the road. Tea and coffee are available but please bring a packed lunch.

Come along to one or two of our weekly meetings to meet us and find out if you would like to join us, before paying any membership fees.

Annual Membership Fees for 2023/2024 are £55 due in April.

​

If you join outside this time you will pay a proprtional amount.
