CRICKHOWELL GUILD

a friendly group of talented

craftspeople focusing on

traditional textile crafts

Join our Community of Makers

Members of the Crickhowell Guild are enthusiastic and talented craftspeople who focus on using traditional textile crafts.

We are a friendly, mixed ability group of men and women, who meet every Thursday 10.00am – 3.00pm

at our base in the Village Hall, Llangynidr, Powys, NP8 1ND.

This is about 5 miles from our previous home in Crickhowell.

We enjoy developing our skills with a range of talks, visits, courses and workshops.

Our weekly meetings enable us to exchange ideas and help and encourage each other.

We have a good range of looms, spinning wheels, and associated equipment, as well as a large library of books.

These are all available for members to borrow and use both at the centre and in their homes.

The Guild is open to experienced crafts people as well as to complete beginners.

The Crickhowell Guild is affiliated with the Association of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.

This enables the group to share with a much wider membership skills and expertise,

as well as giving the opportunity to access the Associations resources.

New members and visitors are always very welcome.
